Deal Closed: Karpower Officially Completes Texas Shipyard Acquisition

BROWNSVILLE - February 3, 2026 - Advancing its long-term investment goals in the Brownsville region of Texas, Karpower has successfully and officially completed the acquisition process of the AmFELS shipyard from the Singapore-based Seatrium. Following the agreement announced in September, the meticulously managed process concluded with the full delivery of existing projects at the facility and the approval of all legal procedures.

With the closing of the transfer, the management and full operational control of the shipyard have completely transitioned to Karpower. Serving as a key base for energy infrastructure projects in Texas, this large-scale facility, having completed its integration process, is now fully ready to commence operations under its new management and bring the company’s strategic vision for the region to life.
